1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make a site work and to remember choices you have made.
2. Cookies we use
Namd sets essential cookies only:
- Session: keeps a request associated with the visit it belongs to
- Theme preference: remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme
Both are needed for the site to work as intended, so there is nothing to consent to and no consent banner.
3. Cookies we do not use
We run no analytics of any kind, no advertising, and no cross-site tracking. We set no analytics, marketing or profiling cookies, and we embed no third-party scripts that would set them through our pages. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookie duration
- Session cookies: expire when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies: stay on your device until they expire or you delete them. The theme preference is one of these
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, and set rules for individual sites. Doing that for namd.tech is fine: you will lose the saved theme preference, and the site will otherwise work as normal.
6. Do not track
We do not track visitors across sites, so a Do Not Track signal changes nothing about what we do.
7. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy. Any change will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
