Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 9, 2026

1. Information we collect

There are no accounts and no payment details, because Namd has neither. What we hold is:

When you ask for a scan report by email:

  • The email address you give us
  • A hashed IP address, stored so we can enforce the scan rate limit
  • The domain you asked us to scan, and its score at the time you asked
  • Which page on our site collected the address
  • Any utm_ or click-id parameters in the link you arrived through, and the referring URL, so we can tell which channel sent you. Both are empty if you arrived directly.

When you contact us:

Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs on our behalf, under its own retention arrangements.

2. How we use your information

We use this information to:

  • Send you the report you asked for
  • Follow up about that report and about work you have asked us to quote
  • Enforce the rate limit on the scan endpoint and prevent abuse
  • Answer messages you send us

We run no analytics of any kind. We do not profile you, build an advertising audience, or track you across sites.

3. Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers that run the service on our behalf:

  • Neon: hosts the database the email address and hashed IP are stored in
  • Resend: delivers the report email
  • Vercel: hosts the site and the scan endpoint

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Model providers are not among these. No personal data is sent to them.

4. Data security

We limit what we collect, hash IP addresses before storing them, and keep the data in the systems listed above. No transmission over the internet is completely secure.

5. Data retention

We keep the email address you gave us until you ask us to delete it. Ask at hello@namd.tech and we will.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent

To exercise any of these, write to hello@namd.tech.

7. Cookies

We set essential cookies only: a session cookie and your theme preference. There are no analytics or advertising cookies and no consent banner. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Transfers rely on the mechanisms those providers have in place, including standard contractual clauses they publish.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Any change will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
