1. Acceptance of terms
By using Namd at namd.tech, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. If you are using Namd on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
3. What the service does
Namd fetches and analyses publicly available pages on a domain you submit, and reports what it found. Where you ask us to, we can open a pull request against your repository with proposed changes.
A pull request is a proposal. You review the diff and merge it, or you do not. Nothing reaches your site without someone on your side approving it.
4. No accounts
There are no accounts and no sign-up. If you give us an email address to receive a report, we use it as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Namd for any unlawful purpose or in any way that damages or disrupts it. In particular, you agree not to:
- Submit a domain you do not own or control, without permission from someone who does
- Automate around the rate limit on the scan endpoint
- Present a report as a verified statement of fact about a third party
- Transmit malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property
Our Acceptable Use Policy sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.
6. Fees
The scan is free, with no account and no card. Ongoing work is scoped per site and quoted per engagement, and the payment terms for that work are in the quote.
7. Intellectual property
The site, the software behind it and the way reports are constructed remain ours. The findings in a report about your domain are yours to use in your business, including internally and with your own advisers.
You keep all rights in your site, your content and your repository. Merging a change we propose transfers nothing to us.
8. No warranty
The service is provided as is. Our Disclaimer sets out what we do and do not represent about reports, availability and results, and forms part of these terms.
9. Termination
We may block a caller or stop providing the free scan at any time, including for breach of these terms. Ongoing engagements end according to their own terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Namd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
11. Changes to terms
We may modify these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Namd is established, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms go to hello@namd.tech.
