1. Overview
This document describes the service level you can expect from Namd. It commits us to less than a document with this title usually does, which is the point of writing it down.
2. Service availability
The scan at namd.tech is provided as available and is free. We do not commit to an uptime percentage, and there are no service credits, because there is no fee to credit.
3. Maintenance
We deploy changes and perform maintenance without advance notice. The service may be briefly unavailable while that happens.
4. Support
There is one support channel: hello@namd.tech. We read every message. We do not commit to a response time, and there is no phone line, live chat or status page.
5. Rate limits
The scan endpoint limits how many scans one caller may run in a given period. Exceeding the limit returns an error until the window passes. The limit exists to stop the endpoint being used to send large volumes of traffic at other people's servers. If you need more volume, write to hello@namd.tech.
6. Scoped engagements
Ongoing work is scoped per site and quoted per engagement. Any service levels for that work are the ones written into the engagement. Nothing in this document adds to them, and nothing here applies to them by default.
7. Customer responsibilities
The customer shall:
- Submit only domains they own or control
- Report issues to hello@namd.tech with enough detail for us to reproduce them
- Keep contact details current, so a report or a reply can reach them
8. Changes to this document
We may update this document. Any change will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
